Navigating Social Media Through a Crisis

· Blog

Navigating social media has never been so difficult for brands as it is during the current crisis, particularly for hospitality brands. Your followers don't want to keep hearing the phrases pademic, crisis and covid19 over and over, however if you ignore what is going on you run the risk of appearning insensitive. You need to strike a balance between what is happening and how that has affected your business but then also keeping in line with your brand story and sharing your usual messaging to your followers where possible.

Now is the perfect time to reassess your marketing strategy. Are you happy with what you having been doing up until now? If you feel your business has been in somewhat of a marketing rut now is the time to breath new life into it. People are spending more time online than ever before so there is an opportunity for every brand to strengthen and grow their online presence. But with more traffic comes a greater need to think outside the box and be creative.
